Thank you for subscribing to From the Cookie Jar Blog. As you know, I blog about ideas, memories, and recipes, and, over the next few weeks, I will be making several exciting announcements about new developments, in all three areas.
During the month of December, my goal was to share photos and stories about the interesting gifts I have received, over the years, from my husband. I tried to share these memories daily on the Get a Bigger Wagon Facebook page. It was fun for me to reminisce this way, and it became clear that other people enjoy reminiscing too.
Speaking of reminiscing, I recently looked back over my blogs and decided to send gifts to a few of my subscribers. Thanks to everyone who leaves a comment.
Congratulations to Beverly A, who has already received her 9” by 13” spring form pan. She commented on the pan I used for my Dreamy Dessert Cloud. I vowed, then, to get one for her. Not just does it help create the perfect Dreamy Dessert Cloud, it works for doubling small desserts, like my husband’s favourite Black Forest Cheesecake.
Congratulations to Harvey & Gayle S, and Justine M. You are receiving the best little cheese knife in the world. It allows one to cut butter and cheese expertly, but my grandchildren use it to chop mushrooms and ham into tiny cubes for various recipes. It is sharp enough for the job, but safe for the kids, and it won’t scratch your non-stick pans.
When I need a perfect cup of flavourful dark tea, I choose Lyons Gold Blend. Amanda S, you will receive the gift of a large box of Lyons Gold Blend tea. This tea is a blend of African, Assam, and Ceylon tea and has a delicious memorable flavour. You will also be receiving a tiny recipe book called Favourite Teatime Recipes. The Yorkshire Tea Cakes seem worth the effort.
I appreciate each one of you, and I plan to send gifts every few weeks. My distributor will contact this week’s recipients for your mailing addresses. Please watch for a new recipe, coming soon, From the Cookie Jar.
