Maureen Haddock read excerpts from her book With love, From Iraq during a thank-you breakfast held at Smitty's in Market Mall. The restaurant allowed Maureen to interview Wajid and Maysoon, weekly, for two and a half years, while writing the book. After breakfast, Wajid and Maysoon joined Maureen at a book signing at Coles in Market Mall.
Gord and Maureen Haddock launched the Get a Bigger Wagon Young Entrepreneur Awards, for young people ages 7 to 15 years of age, by showing up in a massive wagon at the Edwards Centennial Celebration in September of 2018. The Haddocks thank Gary Grady for making this launch possible. Gary is the creator of this big rig, which is licensed and highway worthy. Launching an entrepreneurship award should be fun.

With only a few days until Christmas, author Maureen Haddock spent a morning with Mr. Baraniuk's grade eight class at Greystone Heights. Maureen was thrilled to see one Get a Bigger Wagon book per student in the classroom. These students made Maureen's day.
